A follow-up

Since the letter I wrote to one of my supervisors, he asked to schedule a time to meet with him and perhaps with the principal. A couple of days later, I wrote another lengthy email regarding my thoughts on a potential candidate. This resume exemplify the ideal person to take over my position. It's kind of a funny thing, to be enthusiastic for someone to take over your own job. Anyways, the second long email was directed at the principal, and had several of my suggestions which made it sound like that if my conditions were met, I'd stay for at least another year.

The language is becoming a bit complicated and I need to be careful on how I sound: Yes, there are problems within the departments I'm leading. But no, I don't want to stay even if the problems get resolved. And then ultimately no, I'm not leaving because of these problems. There are actually two different things I'm voicing, they just both happened to be rolled up into one voice.

My own mind has become divided. Much of my thoughts concern the success of my teachers, their students, and the program. My other thoughts concern how I am find a job elsewhere.

So anyways, I've got at least one or two meetings with my higher-ups. I'd like to sound positive and willing to help with the changes, but at the same time gently let them know that I'm bowing out for good.
