Summer Plans shaping up

May isn't over yet, and there's still June to teach - but my mind has gone pretty deep into "vacation" mode.

My last day before the summer break is July 1. Due to the flight departure at 4PM, I'm putting in a half-day.

I'll be flying with Hainan Airlines directly to Seattle. I flew with them last summer and it was alright. I had good company and there were plenty of movies for me to choose from to pass the time.

The first thing I'll do when I arrive in Seattle: renew my driver's license! I had the WSDOL send a letter of extension, which means I can still drive around for another 6 months as long as I carry the letter with my license.

Still fresh off the plane, I'll fly to Oakland, July 3rd for a friend's wedding. This should be interesting, as this wedding brings together not only the friends that I know, but the friends my mom knows! I'll be in town until the 7th.

After chilling out with the family and church friends for a month in Seattle, I'll return to Beijing August 1st. With just a night's rest, I'll catch a flight to Hong Kong to help my girlfriend pack up and move. We'll be on the same flight to Beijing, August 10th.

Plenty of flying, but hopefully the lines won't be too long and the flu situation gone.
